“For some inexplicable reason, my dog started limping on her front leg. I called YAH & 45 minutes later, I was at the hospital. They examined her & prescribed meds. Also, they took care of all her shots too. What more can I say? Went in worried, came out relieved that she’s healthy and well taken care of. Thank you YAH!” – Behnam N.

“I needed a new vet because my kitty was having urinary tract infections that were not getting better. Her previous vet had told me that because her tests were normal that it was just inflammation probably due to stress (we had just moved) and that it would get better on its own. Since it wasn’t getting better I took her to see Dr. Sandu.

He did some blood work and agreed that her tests were normal but prescribed antibiotics and pain medication anyway to see if that would help, as well as a special diet. She made a complete recovery and I’m very happy.

I want to say that they went over and beyond in customer service. I was very worried about here and when she wasn’t improving fast enough I had a lot of anxiety that they relieved for me by taking another look at her the next day at no charge. I go there now every month to pick up her prescription food and they are always so nice. I definitely trust Dr. Sandu with my baby girl.” – Jodi B.

“Our bullmastiff/pitbull mix tore her acl, we called several vet offices in our area and after comparing all aspects of a tplo surgery we decided to see Dr.Sandhu.The office staff were great about answeing all our questions and the office manager made sure everything was completely explained and broken down for us, (what exam would consist of,what tests we should anticipate and a exact cost of everything…no surprises!) At the end of our visit Dr.Sandhu sat down with us and throughly went over the results and clearly laid out our options and prices and what to expect should we have the surgery. We left the vets feeling well informed and felt confident we had made the right choice for our dog and she would be in great hands. We are now a week post op and so far we are seeing wonderful progress with our dog. Thanks Dr.Sandhu and staff” – Robin K.

“AWESOME!!! Preston got hit by a car Saturday afternoon. We took him to Ohlone Veterinary for emergency care. He was there for 6 hours and it cost $1611. My sons friend referred us to Ygnacio Animal Hospital. I called to see if they were open, they said come in. I arrived and literally had a tech that walked out to my car to greet us. She took Preston in and started checking him. Dr. Sandhu checked him out and called for the surgeon to consult. In the meantime, my 6 year old granddaughter was also there watching her grandma start to fall apart. Nicole and BJ took her and worked with her coloring and put on a Tinkerbell movie. THANKS Nicole for the awesome daycare help!

Preston will have surgery Tuesday morning to repair his rear right leg that has 2 breaks near the hip area.

Dr.Sandhu said they would work with me as it is quite costly, but it was way cheaper by half to what Ohlone had told us.

Couldn’t ask for better care for all of us!” – Sue M.

“We have been taking our Newfoundland, Nacho to the Ygnacio Pet Hospital since we got him two years ago. They are so awesome! Here are a few things that they have helped us with:

  • digestive issues. Nacho had diarrhea constantly when we got him and Dr. Ervin got us squared away with an all fish dog food diet the had him pooping normally in no time.
  • regular checkups. We do all Nacho’s shots, flea and tick maintenance with Ygancio
  • grooming. His nails kind of freak me out, so the team here takes care that for us when we come in for a nominal fee
  • medical emergencies. Nacho ate a bunch of chocolate and was acting funny so we brought him in. Dr. Sandhu was a pro: getting him to throw up the chocolate (and finding two plastic bags in the process!) and then Cherice and the rest of the crew (sorry I didn’t get everyone’s names!)

The team at Ygnacio is passionate. They know their stuff and pricing is reasonable. What more could you ask for?” – Rosco L.

“I have brought all my dogs to YAH since I was a kid (it was owned by Dr Weldon then).

April is tops! She took care of my Jakob from puppy-hood to his last minutes. In those last minutes she not only took loving care to transition Jakob to peaceful rest, but she assured me I was doing right by him & she cried with me too! Now she is caring for our Sofia & I look forward to many more years & visits to YAH.
Her staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Occasionally, there is wait time but it is worth it for her care and expertise. Only minor negative for me is that care is a bit costly.” – Dar W.

“The doctors and staff are very friendly and have accommodated me for appointments. Dr. Sandhu is amazing and my dog Truman loves going even when it is for shots. As a labradoodle, he suffers from ear infections. Dr. Sandhu is up on all of the latest treatments to help. Now…Truman is a happy camper. I am so glad I found this place.” – Charlène F.
